Wake up early and hop on a private or public vehicle to travel to Trongsa. The journey is quite long and involves ascending to the Dochula pass before descending into the Punakha valley. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Mt. Jomolhari (7326m) and pass through charming villages like Rukubji and Sephu before reaching Trongsa. Tonight, you’ll stay overnight in Trongsa.

Today, we’ll explore the city of Trongsa in Bhutan. Our main stop will be the Trongsa Palace, also known as the Thrupang Palace. This historical palace, nestled on the hillside, served as the seat of power for ancient rulers and is where the third king of Bhutan was born. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this centuries-old building as we explore other parts of Trongsa. You’ll also admire the captivating architectural marvels set amidst the lush greenery of the surroundings. We’ll spend the night in Trongsa.

The drive to Bumthang lasts for about 2 hours, covering roughly 80 km of scenic terrain. We’ll traverse the Yotong La Pass and pass through the Chumey valley along the way. En route, we’ll pass through charming villages like Zugney, Parker, and cross the Kiki La Pass. Finally, we’ll reach Bumthang. Upon arrival, take some time to explore the town before heading to the hotel for the night. We’ll stay overnight in Bumthang.

Bumthang is a captivating destination rich in culture and history, making it a paradise for travelers. The city is adorned with numerous architectural marvels that carry centuries of history within them. We’ll visit the Jambey Lhakhang temple to delve into the teachings of Buddhism and explore the Kurje Lhakhang. Additionally, we’ll have the opportunity to discover the wonders of the Tamzhing Monastery. After a day of sightseeing, we’ll return to Punakha where we’ll spend the night. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Today marks the last day of your journey in Bhutan. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we’ll head to the Paro Airport for our flight to Kathmandu. Once we arrive in Kathmandu, we’ll be transferred to our hotel. After some rest, you can explore the bustling streets of the city to shop for gifts and souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Today marks the end of your journey, and our representative will escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Before heading to the airport, you have some time to explore nearby areas in Kathmandu. We wish you a safe and pleasant flight.
