Champadevi Hike is a scenic journey to a religious site called Champadevi, offering a unique adventure experience. Starting from Kathmandu, you’ll drive about 19km south to Pharping, passing by the DakshinKali temple. The hike begins in Pharping, an ancient town known for its Buddhist monasteries, where Guru Rinpoche is said to have achieved enlightenment.

The hike takes you through lush pine forests, gradually uphill for about half an hour, until you reach the northern ridge. From there, you’ll continue ascending to reach Champadevi Temple, located on the highest hill surrounding the Kathmandu valley. The hike takes only a few hours to reach the top of the Champadevi ridge.

During the hike, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, and Gaurishankar. After enjoying the scenery, you’ll descend the same way back to Pharping and return to your hotel.

Our journey begins with a visit to Budhanikantha, located 8 kilometers north of Kathmandu. Here, you can explore the Budhanikantha temple, famous for its statue of Lord Vishnu sleeping in a pond. As we hike uphill, we reach the park entrance where we check our permits and enter. Along the way, you’ll hear the sounds of nature, from the crunching of leaves to the chirping of birds.

Inside the park, you’ll find a diverse range of wildlife, including over 500 species of birds and animals like Indian leopards, jungle cats, Hanuman Langurs, and wild boars. Our hike takes us to Nagi Gompa, the highest point at 2330 meters, where you can learn about Buddhism and interact with monks.

The hike is suitable for all skill levels, but the trails can be slippery, so it’s essential to be cautious. After exploring Nagi Gompa, we make our way back to the park entrance and return to our hotel, concluding our trip.

It all starts with your arrival in Kathmandu, where you’ll spend a day getting ready for the trek and getting the necessary permits. You’ll also get to see some important places in Kathmandu, which are recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage sites.

The next day, you’ll fly to Nepalgunj and then to Jumla, which is where the trek starts. During the trek, you’ll pass through different valleys like Jumla, Padmara, Tila, and Sinja, where you’ll get to learn about the culture of the tribes living in the park. You might even see some cool animals like black bears, red pandas, and musk deer.

The best part of the trek is when you finally reach Rara Lake. The view of the lake surrounded by mountains is absolutely breathtaking. You’ll camp by the lake and visit the nearby Rara village, which feels like living in the wild.

Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek

Kanchenjunga, standing tall at 8586 meters, is the third highest mountain globally and has been a dream destination for many. It’s nestled in the northeastern part of Nepal, known as the Five Great Treasures of Snow. The Kanchenjunga circuit trek is a 25-day adventure that takes you to this mighty mountain through lesser-traveled paths, showcasing cultural and natural diversity with fewer tourists.

Our journey begins by exploring the myths and wonders of the Kathmandu valley. Then, we fly to Bhadrapur and take a long drive to Taplejung. From there, we trek through lush forests to Lalikharka, Phumphe Danda, Khesewa, and Mamankhe. Continuing along the banks of the Kabeli Khola, we reach Yamphudin, crossing suspension bridges along the way to Tortong. Trekking through the Lalung valley and Simbuwa Khola, we reach Cheram, where we spend two days exploring the area and visiting the Yalung glacier from Ramche.

After a visit to Oktang monastery, we head to Yalung Base Camp and then to Sele La (4480m). The trail to Ghunsa is through dense forests, and from there, we trek to Kambachen, navigating through boulders and rocks until we reach Kanchenjunga Base Camp, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges. We then retrace our steps back to Lhonak before heading to Ghunsa. Crossing Sumbung Khola, we reach Amjilosa and later Chirwa. Finally, we return to Bhadrapur for a flight back to Kathmandu, concluding our trip.

Tsum Valey Trek

Tsum Valley is a hidden Buddhist kingdom nestled in the remote corner of the Nepalese Himalayas. It was opened to tourists in 2008, so much of its natural beauty remains untouched. The Tsum Valley Trek is an exciting adventure that takes you through the stunning landscapes of Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, and Boudha Himal ranges. Moreover, you’ll get to experience the rich culture of the valley, which has preserved its ancient traditions.

The 20-day trek starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. After a scenic tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, you’ll head to Arughat Bazaar in the Gorkha district. From there, the trek takes you north towards Lower and Upper Tsum. Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional villages like Soti Khola, Machha Khola, Jagat, Chisopani, Chumling, Chhokang Paro, and the Nile before reaching Mu Gompa. Mu Gompa is home to the largest monastery in the area and is close to the Tibetan border in the north. Tsum Valley has a deep Buddhist heritage, with legends of the Buddhist saint Milarepa meditating in the mountain caves. The valley also houses the Kyimu Lung pilgrimage circuit.

After exploring Mu Gompa and its surroundings, you’ll descend through Burgi, Chumling, Philim, Khorlabesi, and Soti Khola back to Arughat. The trek reaches its highest point at Milarepa Cave (3700m), offering breathtaking views of Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, and Boudha Himal ranges. The people of the valley, known as ‘Tsumbas’, are known for their rich cultural heritage.
