Lobuche Peak Climbing

Climbing Lobuche Peak is tough but loved by many climbers. The journey starts in Kathmandu, where you’ll visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites before flying to Lukla. From there, you trek through Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche, heading towards Everest Base Camp.

Along the way, you’ll see stunning views and cultural attractions. After reaching Lobuche village, you’ll head to Lobuche High Camp for the final climb. This part is challenging, with steep slopes and exposed ridges. You’ll need climbing gear like ropes, ice axes, and crampons.

Once at the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest and other peaks. After descending, you’ll trek back to Lukla via Pangboche village and Namche. Lobuche Peak is best climbed in spring (Mar-Jun) or autumn (Sep-Nov).

Mountain Trail Nepal offers both group and private trips at reasonable prices. Our experienced Sherpa leaders will guide and support you throughout the journey.

Rara Lake Trek

The Rara Lake Trek is an exciting adventure in the far-west of Nepal, where you’ll find the Rara National Park. The trek takes you through some really wild and beautiful areas, letting you explore the amazing national park. You’ll walk through forests and meadows, with occasional views of mountains, until you reach the stunning Rara Lake.

This trek is a bit different from the usual ones in Nepal because it’s not as well-known. The next day, you’ll fly to Nepalgunj and then to Jumla, which is where the trek starts. You might even see some cool animals like black bears, red pandas, and musk deer.

The best part of the trek is when you finally reach Rara Lake. The view of the lake surrounded by mountains is absolutely breathtaking. You’ll camp by the lake and visit the nearby Rara village, which feels like living in the wild.

After exploring the area around Rara Lake, the trek takes you on a loop back to Jumla, passing through places like Ghorosingha and Jaljala. The best times to do this trek are in spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), when the weather is nice and the views are clear.
